I was inspired by this dress from Grosgrain Fabulous.
I started with a rub-off pattern of a shirt I love. Everything was good to go.
Except it came out like this:
It looked a little too Queen Elizabeth to me. So I tried to make it work, but it wouldn't.
The only thing to do was lose the ruffles.
Now I have a very nice, basic work shirt. But still nothing to wear in the photos. I am working on that however, and I'm very excited about the second attempt.
And as a nice bonus, look what I can make with the detached ruffle
I think it's begging to be part of a belt.
