Over Thanksgiving, when we had a ton of family in town, we did family pictures. Since we were doing 7 family combinations, I convinced my cousin, uncle, brothers and Hubby to help haul my mom’s antique couch (with her permission) out to a field in the park (which was deserted on Thanksgiving day, go figure) that I knew had beautiful afternoon light because I shot this post there.
I wish I had taken a picture of them carrying it out there, but even if I had I don’t know that they all wanted to be on the internet, so I’ll stick with showing you my family.
Hubby and the boys while I set up the camera (he’s trying to talk them into behaving)
A few frowny faces
Some kids who wouldn’t look at the camera
A few where we all looked dopey
And finally a perfect one
I love that everyone (except Hubby) is wearing outfits made by me. See links below for our clothes.
Me: Sashiko Tunic and DIY Dyed Jeans
Bean: Varsity Cowl and Nowhere Man Pants (handed down from Tater)
Tater: Button Shoulder Shirt and Clean Slate Pants
Merry Christmas – I hope you are safe, warm and enjoying time with family.Â
And come back tomorrow for an exciting after-Christmas present.
